Grateful for Pen and Paper
Guest Speaker ~ Jenny Mannion
“I love this podcast ’cause everyone has a story. Everyone has their gifts to share and it’s so important we do share with each other. In the past I have run women’s groups and it is such a beautiful thing for everyone to share their story because we do have commonality. It’s how we connect and find the similarities and the things we love about each other. That’s never been more important than now.”
– Jenny Mannion
The leaves on the trees outside my home have begun their transformation from lush greens to vibrant reds, oranges, and flaming yellows. The chill in the air and shorter daylight hours remind us that everything is always in transition. I cannot think of a better introduction to this week’s podcast episode.
Jenny Mannion is a beautiful soul I met on social media before social media consumed countless hours of our attention and time. We’ve been aware of each others online presence; yet, you would have no idea this conversation was the first time we have spoken to each other face-to-face (using Zoom).
Jenny is an International best-selling author, speaker, highly sought after intuitive, self-love activator, and media personality. The title to the book she wrote is A Short Path to Change: 30 Ways to Transform Your Life. She joined me in the studio for what quickly became a powerful conversation.
It didn’t take us long to find ourselves talking about the impact writing can have on our emotions and how we can use our journals to become aware of our self-perception. Allowing ourselves to shine, self-forgiveness, and perfectionism were only a few of the topics we explored. We both agreed that everyone has a story to share.
This heart-centered episode is filled with insights on how to forgive ourself, how writing prompts will bring awareness to our emotions, and activating self-love. This is truly a must-listen-to podcast!
What story are you telling your mind, body, spirit, and the world? Do you believe your words have the power to change your circumstances? What are you saying to Self?
Pour yourself a cup of green tea, step outside to breathe in the aromas of nature, and enjoy listening our motivational conversation that will inspire you to write.
